Students’ perception of learning in an internship in community pharmacies

Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the perception pharmacy undergraduate students about learning developed in an internship community pharmacies designed based on experiential theory. Methods: This observational study. Data were collected through a questionnaire with (n=129), including items student’s achievement objectives and methods. Quantitative qualitative analysis data performed. Results: Most undergraduates agreed that increased their understanding current profile pharmacists responsibilities pharmacy, prepared them for patient care fostered critical assessment ability propose improvements. Students supervised by preceptors who performed clinical services more likely agree achieved objective preparing care. Conclusion: majority outcomes achieved. findings can contribute improvements programs, such as qualifying practice sites.
